Soon as the clock strikes 1 in the night, I sit at the computer and feel like that småmysigt sentimental. It depends not on the mediocre Dan Swanö-progg coat I currently listen to, but the blog Alice and Kev. I had long intended to read it, but just do not come for me. So today (or should I say tonight) it was referred in an article I found, which led to that I sat for half an hour and read the bar, unaware of the world around me with cheap mortal gold.
So what is this nonsense? Well, it’s a blog documenting the two homeless Sims 3 characters Alice and Kevs life. Fast on reflection is perhaps the wrong word blog, then it really is (to quote the writer Robin Burkinshaw) "story of homelessness in The Sims 3, presenting late-alloy from a blog format."
It may sound terribly pretentious (which, in many ways it certainly is), but what does it matter? Alice and Kev is both an emotional story and a testament to the game with his interactive (and in this case play drive and non-linear) nature can be used to create experiences stronger than any other medium.
